Celebrating together
Parents are invited throughout the year to celebrate their child’s achievements and take part in their learning journey.
Our community, like London itself, is multi-cultural and multi lingual.
Our families give us much to celebrate – traditions, festivals, stories and music from around the world are part of the children’s experience.
From winter dance performances and ‘Chrismukkah’ shows, to sports day summer picnics, we provide many opportunities throughout the year for parents and carers to come into the centre, and be part of the community.
We send regular updates and termly newsletters to our parents, so even when you are not able to attend an event, you will know what your child has been doing and can engage in discussions with them about their activities and learning at preschool.

Special exhibitions
Building on their learning, the children are involved in every element when curating science fairs or transforming our spaces into museums.
Parents are invited in to see the exhibits and watch experiments as they happen.

Sports day & summer picnic
Always a joyful, fun event in the summer term, parents are invited to watch, support and take part in the children’s sports day.
Afterwards, parents, teachers and children and then sit down together to share a well-deserved picnic.

Dance showings
Dance and movement sessions take place every week and are an important element of the children’s education, developing their physical strength, balance and coordination.
They also give children a way to express the feelings and thoughts which they can’t always put into words.
Parents are invited in for performances – allowing the children to showcase their creativity and confidence.

Winter performance
As autumn term draws to a close and winter is upon us, parents are welcomed into their child’s centre to hear and join in with festive singing and to see ‘Chrismukkah’ performances.
A special guest, with a big white beard and dressed in red (who has been joining us for over 20 years!), comes to sing, entertain and give the children a book as a gift.
