Learn to play,
play to learn
Central to our ethos is the conviction that learning should be joyful.
Our approach centres on holistic development, understanding that true learning happens when children feel secure, valued, and genuinely excited about discovery.
We don't simply teach children what to think—we inspire them to think, to question, to explore, and to develop their own understanding of the world around them.
Curiosity & independence of thought
We encourage children to ask questions, explore their interests, and develop independent thinking from an early age.
Self-esteem & respect for others
Building a positive self-image and fostering mutual respect in a nurturing environment.
Confidence & social ease
Through group activities and individual attention, we help children develop the confidence they need to thrive in social settings.
Wider knowledge & understanding of the world
Our ambitious curriculum encourages children to develop a compassionate understanding of the world and wider society they are a part of.
A lifelong love of learning
A Ready Steady Go education is a process of exploration, discovery and experiencing. At its heart is the precept: I hear and I forget; I see and I remember; I do and I understand.
A nurturing environment for growing minds
We are committed to giving children a happy, creative and positive pre-school experience which can help them become independent, confident individuals and prepare them for the next stage of their education.
We believe that education and learning should be guided by the individual child’s interests and build on their abilities in an environment which is both vibrant and safe, stimulating yet holding.

School ready
Whether your child moves on to do reception at your chosen school or stays with us, we ensure they are prepared for that transition.
Since our opening in 1988 we have developed our own approach to the early years curriculum, with activities designed to reflect children’s needs, interests and concerns that are carefully considered to prepare the child for their future educational life.

Our families choose us because they understand that true school readiness encompasses far more than letter recognition and number skills.
They want their children to develop the curiosity, confidence, and emotional intelligence that will serve them throughout their educational journey and beyond.
